Research:
Informal — asking questions
Formal — Focus groups, surveys, unbiased questions
Learn everything about the business you are representing. Understand the terminology, competitors, audience
Planning: Be specific about your objective, what media to use, what audience to target. Set measurable goals. Impact and output objectives.
Impact — specific in the effect you want to see overall
Output — How you will obtain your impact objective
Communication: Take the output objective and complete it
Put together a news release, make signs, and put the plan into place.
Evaluation: Did we get it right? Review your work and use focus groups to see how you did. Did you obtain your goals?
